Bali Trip: Day 2 «|» 11:54 AM
Volcano :)
The Mountains
Had a morning call at 6.30a.m. Got up, washed up and went to meet up with Celine and Xiang Ting. Went down and had our breakfast. The bus arrived and picked us up and brought us to a mountain. (i forgot the name of the mountain). On the way, we dropped by at a small shop and see some beautiful carving of wood. Bought some souvenirs. Then, we went to a huge building where there are loads of silver there!
We couldnt bring cameras in so we only took some pics outside. After that, we went to have our lunch. We had this Balinese food called 'bebek' which means duck but the duck is super small! It's nice though. I only dont like the rice that was served with the 'bebek'. After lunch, we continued our journey to the mountains. In the bus, the tour-guide warned us about street-sellers. He said they will follow you around until you buy something. 'I was like got so kua-cheong anot?!' After a long drive, we finally reached the mountains. :D When we got down and it was quite cold.
The tour-guide was right! there were loads of street-sellers there. One of them was selling key chain and she is a small girl. She followed me until we reach at the top of the mountain only she go away. OMG! Honestly, i kind of pity them but too bad i dont like buying from this type of people (A). We saw the volcano which could erupt any time. It has already erupted 8 times but those people who stayed near the volcano was still safe. We were told that some tourist go there and was wishing that it would erupt LOL! They wanted to see the lava coming out of that volcano! First time i hear got people want the volcano to erupt! OMG.

There were many shops there too where we can buy our souvenirs and stuff and there was a place to do temporary tattoos as well. xiang ting, mae and Julyn did the tattoo and the rest of us wanted to do as well but we didnt have time :( It was time for us to go for dinner. We were suppose to meet back at the bus by 7 but it was already 7.15! we were late! Rushed to the bus, and we hit the road.
Finally, we reached our destination. We had a wonderful seafood dinner at the beach side! :D It was super windy there and super dark as well. All they had was candles for light. It was fun though. After the dinner, we went to was our legs as they were sandy and hopped onto the bus and headed back to the hotel.
